What counts as an emergency
- No heat when it is below freezing outside, especially with children, older adults or anyone medically fragile in the house
- No cooling during a heat advisory for the same households
- Water pouring from a furnace, boiler or water heater
- A boiler or furnace making a loud bang, smelling hot, or tripping breakers repeatedly
If you smell gas: leave the house, then call We Energies at 800-261-5325 and 911 from outside. If a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding: get everyone out and call 911. Call us after you are safe.
Thirty seconds of checks before you call
- Thermostat set to Heat or Cool, with fresh batteries, and set a few degrees past the room temperature
- The furnace power switch (it looks like a light switch near the furnace) is on, and the breaker is not tripped
- The filter is not packed solid; a clogged filter trips furnaces and freezes air conditioners
- The furnace door is fully closed; most furnaces will not run with the blower door off

Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
Yes. Calls on nights, weekends and holidays are billed at our after-hours rate. You get the exact price when you call, before anyone heads out, and Premier Comfort Club members pay daytime rates any time.
How fast can you get here?
Inside Milwaukee County, usually within a couple of hours, often faster; we give you a real window when you call. Waukesha County is a bit longer depending on where you are.
Can you give me a temporary fix if the part has to be ordered?
Usually. Depending on the failure we can often get the system running safely while the part is on the way, or help you set up safe temporary heat or cooling. We will tell you the options and the price before doing anything.
Are your repairs guaranteed?
Yes. Every repair is guaranteed for one year, parts and labor. If something we fixed fails within that year, call us and we make it right at no charge.
