Ductwork repair, sealing, design and duct cleaning in Milwaukee
A new furnace attached to bad ductwork is still a bad system. One cold bedroom, a hot upstairs, dust everywhere, a furnace that never shuts off: those are usually duct problems, and we find them with measurements, not guesses.

Airflow diagnosis: numbers, not opinions
We measure static pressure at the furnace and airflow at the registers, then compare them with what the equipment needs. Most of the time the problem is undersized returns, crushed or disconnected runs, leaky joints in an unfinished basement, or a duct system that was never designed for the second floor. You get a written explanation and a fix with a flat-rate price.
Duct repair, sealing and modification
- Sealing joints and takeoffs with mastic, not tape that fails in two years
- Adding return air where there was never enough, the most common fix for a furnace that overheats
- Resizing and rerouting runs, adding branches for finished basements and remodels
- Balancing dampers so the upstairs finally gets its share in summer
New ductwork for additions, retrofits and conversions
Designed to the load, sized by the airflow each room needs, run cleanly and sealed. If you are adding central air to a boiler-heated house or ducting an addition, we design it on paper first so you can see what it will look like before anything is cut.
Duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning
Duct cleaning is worth it after a renovation, in a newly bought home, when you can see dust or debris in the ducts, after pests or water, or when allergies flare every time the fan runs. It is not a cure for a dirty furnace or a bad filter, and we will say so. Dryer vent cleaning is a safety item: a lint-packed vent is a fire hazard and makes your dryer run twice as long.
- Whole-house duct cleaning with the vents, trunks and returns, plus the blower and coil on request
- Duct sanitizing available on request
- Dryer vent cleaning

Good to know
Frequently asked questions
Why is one room always cold (or hot)?
Usually a long or undersized duct run, a closed or missing damper, a leaky joint in the basement feeding the room, or no return path when the door is closed. We measure the airflow at that register and fix the actual cause.
Is duct cleaning worth it?
Sometimes. After construction dust, pests, water damage, in a newly purchased home, or when you can see debris in the ducts, yes. If your real problem is a cheap filter or a dirty blower, cleaning the ducts will not help, and we will tell you before you spend the money.
Can you add a return to a room?
Yes, and it is one of the most effective fixes for a house that heats and cools unevenly, or a furnace that overheats and shuts off on its limit.
Do you install ductwork in older homes without any?
Yes. We design the system first, route trunks through closets and chases where possible, and show you the plan before cutting. Where ducts are impractical, a ductless system is often the better answer.
How much does duct cleaning cost in Milwaukee?
HomeAdvisor’s national cost guide puts air duct cleaning at about $388 on average, with most jobs between $271 and $508; we have not found a Milwaukee-only figure we trust. The size of the house and the number of vents drive the price. We quote by the house after a free look. More in our Milwaukee HVAC price guide.
Are your repairs guaranteed?
Yes. Every repair is guaranteed for one year, parts and labor. If something we fixed fails within that year, call us and we make it right at no charge.
